GOT TAX PROBLEMS?
If you have not filed your tax returns, you have a serious problem, which needs to be resolved now. If you have filed your tax returns, but have not paid your taxes (and are not in any kind of payment plan), then you have a serious problem. The IRS is relentless, and although it may take the IRS several years to catch up to you, they will find you and they have no mercy in collecting all the money that is owed using levies, wage garnishments, asset seizures, etc. When the collection process starts, they'll make your life miserable and literally ruin all aspects of your life (including your marriage).
Why let this happen? Leave it to the trained professional to take this burden off your shoulders by allowing us to be your representative. If we decide to take your case, we will ask you to sign a Power-of-Attorney which will require the IRS and FTB ---as written in the law ---to stop contacting you as they are required to work with your tax representative, who is then required to maintain consistent contact with the government. We become your advocate and represent your case, on your behalf (because we work for you), to the government. You no longer have to communicate with the government directly --- only through us. This act alone brings great peace of mind to our clients.

ATTORNEYS vs. CPAs/EAs: SHOULD WE USE AN ATTORNEY?
Most cases do not require an attorney because 90% of the cases usually involve unfiled tax returns or collection of tax debts issues, which mostly involve accounting work required to complete tax returns or the preparation of Statements of Financial Position, which are accounting projects. Most attorneys are not very talented in accounting which is why they went into law. So why pay more per hour to have an attorney perform non-legal work? If an attorney is necessary, we will advise you as that is our ethical responsibility, and because we do not engage in the unauthorized practice of law. Attorneys are very important to use when needed, but for most Tax Dispute Resolution matters, a CPA/EA --- specialized in the area of Tax Representation & Dispute Resolution ---will be your best solution.
